Anybody here get in on the ebay auctions for Cotton_Comes_To_Tokyo's latest batch of Japanese film posters? I tried to get a few differant
ones, but ended up with just the poster for "Adauchi" which is one that I did want.
I was very surprised to see a poster for "Dokufu Otsuta to Kubikiri Asa" (1977), I never knew that there was a film version of the Koike and Kojima
manga. I wonder if there is any chance of seeing it show up on a subtitled DVD?
I had hoped to get the poster for the Tomisaburo Wakayama film "Gokuaku Bozu : Nenbutsu Hitokiri Tabi" (1969) aka Wicked Priest 3, but it was beyond
my budget...

There was a single 1977 film ,it covers storylines from Vol 1 of the Manga ..
But ........sadly its never been on video or DVD . It did play on JP Cable but dont know anyone who has a copy . |

Who. What I wouldn't do to get a copy of a Samurai Executioner film. Those posters are also top notch.

Those are fantastic. I remember trying to bid on a bunch of "Cotton's" posters many months ago, but the same user would bid the price up to a
ridiculous amount on all the best ones. By the end he must have won auctions totaling about $5000. It was kind of disheartening because it appeared that he was
a reseller with nearly limitless funds.
I'll have to look out for his next set... |

One of the reasons Sam Ex is so hard to find is its actually a jidai /pinky violence film .
