Patrick Galloway's new book, Warring Clans, Flashing Blades: A Samurai Film Companion, is now listed for advance orders through Amazon. Release date is listed as September 2008.
I went ahead and placed an order for it, along with The Yakuza Movie Book: A Guide to Japanese Gangster Films by Mark Schilling (to qualify for the free super-saver shipping).

The Schilling book is a must have .
I forget the title but there is another major samurai film book coming this year ,boasting some 500 plus reviews . |
