Posts: 3642 05/07/09 14:38:41 Daimyo (Moderator)	Look at the cast on the IEYASU DVD ,its pretty amazing Matsukata Chiba Sanada Ogata Iwashima that alone would make it worth picking up ,not to mention high quality drama ,glorious battle scenes . NEMURI TV VOL 4 Tamura's swansong as the "full moon swordsman "the plot seems more twisted than usual for the tv films .well worth picking up . YAGYU THREE GENERATIONS I think more people ''NEED ''to see this ,its a more historical take on the Yagyu Clan but loses none of the great fighting and action we come to expect . COMING SOON . ACKECHI MITSUHIDE I saw this on tv sans subs and loved it ,its a really clever take on this story of the man who killed Nobunaga ,this is not your usual jidai ,its very clever strikingly filmed and even has a homage to Sergio Leone at the end .

I ordered a couple of earlier yakuza films that I've wanted: the first of the Abashiri Prison films and another Red Peony Gambler film.

Posts: 287 05/12/09 09:55:16	I placed an order for the last of the Nemuri Kyoshiro DVDs (hopefully, the television series will start getting subtitled now), but decided to wait on the 9th Yagyu Jubei movie until I can afford the others which I still don't have. I have too many things (books and dvd) on order currently from Amazon, CK, Merlin, and ebay, so had to limit my spending.
