Very cool post and very cool posters!!
These are all very early Nikkatsu Action eiga posters---many of which are rarely seen. But, you probably knew that already! ha ha! My Japanese is getting rustier every day (haven't had the chance to use it in ages!); so, I am unable to give you English translations for all of these. But, I will do my best with a few.... I am using only the poster image numbers (skipping the first image of the book cover)... 2. DA TO (Knock Down) with Akagi Keiichiro 3. TALES OF A GUNMAN: THE MAN WITH A HOLLOW LAUGH with Akagi Keiichiro 4. Kurenai no Kenju (CRIMSON PISTOL) with Akagi Keiichiro skipping a lot, sorry... 18. I AM WAITING with Ishihara Yujiro and Kitahara Mie (releasing from Criterion/Eclipse in August!) 26. Arashi o Yobu Otoko (MAN WHO BRINGS A STORM, aka THE STORMY MAN, aka A STORMING DRUMMER, etc.) with Ishihara Yujiro 27. THE RUSTY KNIFE with Ishihara Yujiro (also releasing from Criterion/Eclipse in August!) 31. Akai Hatoba (CRIMSON SEAPORT, aka RED HARBOR, aka RED QUAY) with Ishihara Yujiro (my favorite Yujiro movie!) Again, I apologize for not being able get all of these translated, at the moment. Tekkaba no Kaze (THE WIND IN A GAMBLING DEN) with Ishihara Yujiro and Akagi Keiichiro. ha ha ha...this is all making my head spin! It has been far too long since I even tried to use any of my Japanese language abilities!

If you click into each one I've added the Japanese title and the main star. Makes it a little easier to copy and paste into search engines for more info,
but I realize the English title would be helpful. Ongoing process!
