Thanks! I just ordered the O-Rin TV special. I have some of the episodes from the series, but I saw that this is a complete film in itself. I really have
enjoyed the series. Now if we could only get my beloved Onna Sazen!!
 
I also ordered a  <yes, truly!!!> yakuza
eiga film, New Prison Walls of Abashiri. I enjoyed the 2nd film of this series, New Prison Walls of Abashiri 2 (which I got from Merlin of SamuraiDVD) very
much; it is independent of the first film. So I trust that I'll enjoy this earlier film as well.

I want to get Lone Wolf Isazo and Sasaki Kojiro (remaster) soon. Anyone know how Lone Wolf Isazo is as a story and so on?

One of the chapters in Chris D.'s book "Outlaw Masters of Japanese Cinema" is devoted to Kazuo Ikehiro and is an interesting read. Ikehiro is also covered nicely in Alexander Jacoby's book "A Critical Handbook of Japanese Film Directors".
